Only options displayed at checkout are valid. Orders begin fulfilment only after full payment authorisation.

Currency & Tax Calculation

All prices are displayed in British Pounds Sterling (£ GBP). Final checkout total includes item subtotals, delivery fees, discounts and applicable UK VAT based on your delivery address.

Any foreign exchange fees charged by your bank for international cards are non-refundable and out of our control.

Payment Security

Checkout uses end-to-end encryption via Shopify’s PCI DSS certified UK payment processors.

Ariella does not store full card numbers, CVVs or expiry dates on internal servers. All payment handling complies with UK GDPR and global payment security standards.

Fraud Checks & Order Suspension

We may pause or cancel orders in these scenarios:
  1. Payment declined by your card issuer
  2. Billing address mismatch for anti-fraud validation
  3. Transaction flagged by automated security systems
  4. Incomplete customer or payment information submitted

    We will notify you by registered email for verification requests.

Pre-Authorisation Holds

A temporary authorisation hold may be placed on your card balance at checkout per standard UK banking procedures. Holds release automatically after cancellation or refund, subject to your bank’s clearing schedule.

Troubleshooting Failed Payments

If payment fails, verify card validity, billing address and available funds first, then contact your bank directly. Unpaid drafts will not enter our fulfilment queue.

Chargeback Guidance

If you notice duplicate or unrecognised transactions, please contact our support team to resolve the issue before opening a chargeback or dispute, as direct disputes lengthen resolution times significantly.

Order Confirmation

A payment and order confirmation email is sent upon successful transaction. Double-check your delivery address and item selections and advise us straight away for corrections.
